Holiday Entertainment Guide 2014 #22

Christmas-show-1Every year it never fails, you get out of a show early or just plain don’t have anywhere to go but don’t want to go home. you want to keep enjoying the season and enjoying some Christmas cheer! Well one of our favorite things to do during the holiday season is to go to Mozart’s Coffeehouse and have some delicious gourmet coffee and eat a canoli while watching their synchronized light show overlooking Lady Bird Lake.

The annual choreographed Christmas Light Show has been around for several years now. Each year something is added to the show and the lights are configured differently and more extravagantly. The show has become an Austin tradition that some are saying rival the Trail of Lights at Zilker Park!

This Year Mozart’s even has Fireworks! Not the loud, smoky fireworks,… but we DO have Christmas Lights in the SHAPE of fireworks that explode over Christmas lights in the SHAPE of the Austin skyline. Try to beat that. WOW!

The FREE family friendly synchronized music and light show runs for 15 minutes at at the top of each hour: 6 pm, 7 pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm and midnight. Come on out and enjoy the deck overlooking Lake Austin. It’s magical!

The show goes on every night through January 4, 2015. So if you can’t make it tonight, make plans to come another night.
