The Scottish Play taking over Austin’s City Theatre

MACBETH. “Double, double, toil and trouble” begins CTC’s 8th season with William Shakespeare’s darkest and most powerful tragedy. It is the infamous chronicle of a Scottish hero’s fall from grace, through spellbound seduction and the evil and bloody pursuit of power. In this brutal and chaotic tale, nothing is as it seems as all combat their own madness.
